I am honored and delighted to move into the director position at First Roots Underhill. I was born and raised here in Jericho, VT and now live in Grand Isle with my partner and two kitties. I began my journey in early childhood education in 2011 and have been a part of the First Roots team for a little over three years, previously as the teacher in the Owl classroom. I am passionate about teaching little humans, and hope to inspire and grow with the educators here at First Roots in my Director role. As an educator, my philosophy has prioritized creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. I strive to make meaningful relationships with families, children, and the community, and to provide children with a "toolbox" of skills that will support them in being healthy, curious, and empowered individuals. I am very excited to share my passion for early education and to be an advocate for children, families, and educators.
