DANI - Director Infant-Toddler Program

Dani has worked in the education field since 2006 and is delighted to be a part of bringing FirstRoots to our community.  A native of Underhill, Dani studied elementary Special Education at Keene State College in New Hampshire. She worked in that field until moving to Chicago where she ventured into the world of Early Childhood Education. Dani taught a private preschool for a small group of children with severe food allergies. She also spent many years as an infant teacher and then a director of an early childhood program. Dani is also a trained birth doula. Following the birth of her second child, Dani moved with her husband and two sons back to Vermont to be near family. She had the opportunity to spend some time at home bringing up her boys before returning to work as an infant teacher. In 2020 Dani began her graduate coursework and is in the process of earning her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education Administration. Dani enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family!
